Depending on the type of violation against the EU AI Act, authorities can impose fines of up to 7%, 3% or 1.5% of worldwide annual revenue.
The EU AI Act prescribes draconian penalties for violations of prohibited AI practices. For EPUs & SMEs, the fine is capped, but 7% of revenue often means economic ruin.

2. Use of prohibited AI practices:
Up to 35 million EUR or 7% of turnover.
3. False statements to authorities:
